I’m going to be performing with the Top Secret Drum Corps!!!
I have been so lucky to have some incredible opportunities over my career, and I have ticked off an insane number of bucket list goals, this one is absolutely next level. I can literally remember sitting on the couch in my parents place back in 2006 seeing them perform at the Edinburgh Tattoo for the very first time. I remember thinking how cool it would be to just see them live one day, but to be invited to play with them?! Wild.
Top Secret hail from Basel, Switzerland and have developed a strong reputation for delivering exciting performances that showcase the pinnacle of precision, entertainment focused drumming. They fuse the strong traditional of Basel drumming with a modern show that has seen them perform all over the world and become a favourite of the British Royal Family and in May 2016, Top Secret Drum Corps provided one of the performances in the 90th Birthday Celebration for Queen Elizabeth II at her request.
I first met and performed alongside Top Secret at the Basel Tattoo in 2015 as part of the Blue Devils International Tour and it is a exceptional honour to have been invited to perform with them later this year.
I will be playing Bass Drum as part of an all-star, international bass line at the Edinburgh Tattoo, Sydney in October. I cannot wait!
