This was a big one!
On Friday night, I was living out every young musicians’ dream of performing a huge stadium gig alongside some incredible musicians for an internationally televised event – what more could you ask for for?!
For the past 3 months I have been working with Gill Minervini (Dark MOFO, Sydney Olympics) and Andrew Bee to help kick off the 2017 Rugby League World Cup with a bang! Myself and 7 performers from the D²Drumline joined the incredible Casey Donavan perform a 15 minute mix of songs inspired by the musical heritage of the 15 nations taking part in the competition.
It was a huge journey getting to this point with months of composition, production and studio sessions all coming together create an incredible final result.
